Delsa Guerrero-Castillo

CLVG Intern

Prior to joining Loop Partners, Delsa was a cancer researcher at the Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development and acquired varied biomedical, public health, and environmental science experiences.

Delsa studied Biological Science and Public Health on a pre-medical track at Clark Atlanta University. While there, she focused on environmental sustainability by raising awareness and implementing initiatives to reduce the on-campus carbon footprint. Over time she expanded her work in the Greater Atlanta area on energy, climate, and equity issues working alongside the Environmental Defense Fund, HBCU Green Fund, and the Atlanta Sustainability Student Council. She then pivoted into the intersection of science and venture capital as an HBCUvc fellow acquiring the fundamental knowledge, network, and skill sets to support entrepreneurs.

You can find Delsa trekking the world or surfing the web looking for tropical destinations to explore in her free time.
