Ben Lau

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Ben built and supported teams at public companies, including Williams-Sonoma, Inc. and Restoration Hardware, as well as early- to late-stage tech start-ups, including Docker; Zymergen, a materials innovation company; and CreateMe, a company focused on sustainable apparel manufacturing.

Wearing many hats throughout the years, his subject matter expertise includes total rewards, M&A, and system and process implementation across all people and talent operations. Previously, he held production and editorial roles in biology and environmental science publishing.

Ben holds a BA in Creative Studies in Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara.
