Elena Spinelli

Prior to Circular Services, Elena was Chief Financial Officer and HR Manager of Unifor INC., a leading player in the international furniture, kitchens and cabinetry space with facilities in New York and Miami. As CFO, she was responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, reporting, budgeting and corporate strategy/M&A functions. As HR Manager, she oversaw talent management, compensation and employee benefits, training and development, compliance and workplace safety, providing organizational structure and managing the employee lifecycle.

Prior to UNIFOR INC., Elena was the Director of Finance and Accounting of Poliform INC, a leader in international luxury furniture, with locations in New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Prior to Poliform INC., Elena rose through the ranks at K-FLEX GROUP, a 100% privately-owned manufacturing company specialized in the production of thermal and acoustic flexible elastomeric insulation materials, with production facilities and subsidiary networks around the world. K-Flex was focused on technology innovation and product quality to manage energy consumption and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At the U.S. facility, and, previously in EMEA, she oversaw all the finance, accounting, consolidation, reporting and tax operations, covering also legal and compliance functions.

Earlier in her career, Elena was partner and co-founder of CPA Boutique, an accounting firm providing assurance, accounting and tax services to mid- and large-sized businesses. Elena started her career at PwC in the auditing and international tax consulting division, M&A, where she served as senior associate.

Elena graduated from the University of Bergamo (Italy) with a BBA in Finance and Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant according to the Italian laws, with a master’s in finance and accounting. In 1995, she obtained registration to the Ministry of Economy as a Certified Auditor.

Previously, she volunteered for a non-profit healthcare organization managing its financial operations, ensuring financial health and sustainability. She graduated with a degree in Piano from the School of Fine Arts in Milano. She speaks four languages: fluent Italian, English and French, and intermediate German.
