Jennifer Louie
Jennifer is Managing Director and Head of Closed Loop Partners’ Infrastructure Group, the firm’s private credit and catalytic capital investment strategy. She leads the investment team in all aspects of the deal lifecycle, including origination and pipeline development, due diligence, execution, portfolio management, and workouts and restructurings.
Jennifer serves as an investment committee member for two of four thematic debt funds under management, which focus on the circularity of packaging materials in North America.
Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Jennifer spent over a decade of her 20-year career managing and contributing to the growth of a multi-billion-dollar emerging market-focused debt portfolio––leading origination and credit underwriting for transactions spanning pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, logistics and energy. She transitioned into an impact-first investing role in 2017 and has led organizations through strategy development and execution, including leading fundraising and structuring of new impact funds.
Throughout her tenure at Closed Loop Partners, Jennifer closed loan transactions for multiple recycling companies, including municipal and privately owned and operated materials recovery facilities, glass processing facilities, and refinancings and restructurings for multiple plastics processing assets. She and her team have also strategically deployed an equity sleeve to make impactful investments in enabling technologies and non-control stake investments to facilitate acquisitions and ecosystem building. She serves as a Board observer for multiple portfolio companies.
Jennifer holds a BS in Management, with a concentration in Finance and Economics, from Binghamton University.
