Kate Krebs

Kate is Director of External Affairs at Closed Loop Partners, leading policy, partnerships and government affairs engagement with corporate and environmental partners across the firm. With expertise in federal, state and local government affairs, her work helps guide the leadership of Closed Loop Capital Management and the Center for the Circular Economy to make informed policy positions and keep abreast of legislative policy and regulatory actions.
Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Kate worked on environmental policy with the American Beverage Association, whose members include The Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo, Keurig Dr Pepper and Red Bull. She served as Director of Sustainable Resources with The Climate Group, and as Executive Director of The National Recycling Coalition. She began her environmental work in Northern California, leading recycling and environmental advocacy efforts with local community-based organizations, and served for several years as Chair of the Board of Californians Against Waste.
Kate holds a degree from Cal Poly Humboldt with a major in Psychology and a minor in Natural Resources.
