
Winston Tang
Winston is a Private Credit Summer Associate with Closed Loop Partners’ Infrastructure Group, where he will support the firm’s catalytic capital private credit strategy. His responsibilities include assisting with building the investment pipeline, performing company-level financial analysis, and contributing to fund modeling and capital structuring for institutional investor outreach.
Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Winston worked across investment research, infrastructure development and public policy, with a strong emphasis on emerging markets and sustainable finance. Most recently, he was a Research Assistant at Harvard’s Growth Lab, where he analyzed infrastructure bottlenecks and spatial economic trends to inform capital allocation strategies. He also advised a leading electric vehicle company and the Government of Rwanda on EV charging infrastructure strategy, including regulatory frameworks and capital planning. Earlier in his career, he supported financial analysis and automation efforts at a clean energy company and advised on housing and infrastructure policy in both the Canadian and UK public sectors.
Winston is currently pursuing a dual MPP (Master in Public Policy) and MUP (Master in Urban Planning) at Harvard University, where he is the co-chair of the Impact Investing Club and president of the Infrastructure & Housing Club. He holds a BA from the University of Virginia and a MCIT (Master of Computer and Information Technology) from the University of Pennsylvania.
