The Center for the Circular Economy seeks a Senior Program Manager or Program Manager to support initiatives dedicated to advancing the circular economy. Projects and initiatives vary and include managing multi-stakeholder initiatives to accelerate reuse and recycling solutions in QSR, CPG and retail environments.

The role will run for a total of 12 months with a potential to extend based on overall firm needs. Applicants will be required to start this position in June 2025 or July 2025. Responsibilities include: 

Program Management and Strategy Execution 

  • Oversee and project manage high-profile, multi-stakeholder initiatives within diverse industry sectors, including reuse, recycling, and other circularity efforts.
  • Draft multi-year initiative timelines and budgets; manage daily deadlines and tasks to ensure deliverables are on time, high-quality, and within budget.
  • Develop and execute program roadmaps and targets, including planning, resourcing, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Prioritize and coordinate tasks across multiple workstreams, managing complex stakeholder relationships and adapting to evolving needs.
  • Identify internal and external expertise needed for technically complex projects, leveraging in-house capacity and outsourced support effectively.
  • Contribute to other Center special projects as needed.

 

Stakeholder and Relationship Management 

  • Serve as liaison with key stakeholders including brand owners, consultants, subject matter experts, and industry partners.
  • Create project communication plans and lead stakeholder presentations and updates.
  • Plan and facilitate multi-stakeholder workshops and roundtables to advance priorities and foster cross-sector collaboration.

 

Field Implementation and Operations 

  • Identify, source, and manage in-field projects such as reuse launches or recycling pilots; coordinate vendors and ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead in-store implementation, including marketing design, research coordination, store operations, and communications.
  • Lead in-market recycling programs and trials, including program design, vendor management, data analysis, and stakeholder reporting.

 

Research, Analysis and Thought Leadership 

  • Design and execute data collection and analysis plans, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Conduct research, ensure quality assurance, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable recommendations and visual storytelling.
  • Support thought leadership efforts to advance program priorities and share learnings internally and externally.

 

Policy and Regulatory Engagement 

  • Partner with the policy leads to interpret regulatory developments (including Extended Producer Responsibility – EPR).
  • Assess compliance needs and help identify and mitigate regulatory risks that could impact programs.

 

Additional Requirements 

  • Occasional travel as required.

 

Required qualifications: 

  • 3-7 years of experience within the relevant fields of CPG, QSR, retail, top-tier management consulting, waste management and recycling, packaging or environmental policy
  • Experience working in client services on high-profile projects
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new subject matter areas quickly across a broad portfolio
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to evaluate complex, often ambiguous, multi-stakeholder challenges
  • Strong writing and editing skills and experience in drafting concise and effective internal- and external-facing presentations (e.g., Word, PPT, XLS)
  • Differentiated experience in operations, supply chain or consumer research, and interest in managing in-field projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in budget management across projects and scopes

New York City Metro Area Salary Range: $105,000-$140,000

National Salary Range: $90,000 – $125,000

Compensation is commensurate with experience and finalized title.

Role

The Closed Loop Leadership Fund is looking for an Associate to support the investment team in all aspects of the deal process from origination and due diligence through deal support and post-investment portfolio management, as well as research new investment opportunities and work on strategic projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of investment opportunities including financial modeling, valuation, and return analysis
  • Market landscaping and industry research

Closed Loop Infrastructure Group, Private Credit & Catalytic Capital

The Closed Loop Infrastructure Group is Closed Loop Partners’ catalytic private credit strategy, providing flexible and risk-tolerant capital to support private companies and municipal projects representing business models, infrastructure, and innovations that increase the quality and quantity of recycled materials in the system and enhance circularity throughout supply chains. Role

The Closed Loop Infrastructure Group is seeking a Portfolio Analytics and Growth Manager to join the investment team to support the management, servicing, and analysis of all loan portfolios across the catalytic private credit group. The role will report to the Director of Private Credit and Catalytic Capital and work in partnership with the investment, investor relations, and fund finance teams to manage ongoing portfolio monitoring, reporting, and servicing, utilize portfolio data to identify portfolio trends and opportunities, and provide regular updates on borrowers’ financial reporting and impact metrics. We are seeking a candidate that is familiar with both debt and equity structures and who is keen to contribute to a growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Analytics: Compile, maintain, and summarize portfolio company financial metrics to assist in managing risk, identifying areas to further support our portfolio companies, and identifying broader trends and industry conditions across the portfolio.
  • Transaction Execution: Lead on internal onboarding of transactions (including review of closing conditions and development of amortization schedules), coordinate closing flow of funds, and work with treasury to make sure all wires are executed for new investments.
  • Loan Servicing: Work directly with portfolio companies by overseeing payments, covenant compliance, audit requirements, and by providing administrative support across the full life-cycle activity of investments.
  • Investment / Deal Execution: Work in partnership with the portfolio manager to lead the due diligence and execution on any upsize and/or amendment requests from such portfolio companies.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Review and reconcile finance records for all portfolio positions, including borrower/investee reporting, loan payment schedules, holdings reports, and fund return calculations. Assist in loan provisioning internal reviews and discussions (familiarity with CECL is preferred) and with annual fund audit requirements.
  • Investor Relations: Work closely with the investor relations team to ensure timely and accurate financial data, impact outputs, and fund returns information related to capital activity events (e.g. investor distributions or capital calls), quarterly investor reporting, and ongoing investor

 

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years’ experience in Portfolio Management, Lending, Credit Markets, Risk Management, Loan Operations, Accounting, and/or Fund Administration (Private Credit specific)
  • Strong background and work experience in one or more of the following areas: private credit, leveraged loans, lower middle market lending, corporate debt, private fund operations
  • Understanding of loan accounting in accordance with GAAP
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Acute attention to detail, organized
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Can operate in a fast-paced environment and proactively seeks to enhance processes
