Role
The communications intern will support Closed Loop Partners’ communications team with day-to-day operations, collaborating on daily tasks, monthly reporting and larger strategic goals, including education on the circular economy and partnership building increasing. This includes diverse responsibilities, with opportunities to work in media relations, digital content creation, social media strategy, writing and website development.
This position offers hands-on experience with an established leader dedicated to using our platform to advance the transition to the circular economy.
This is a part-time role, for approximately 15 hours per week across 3 months, with flexibility to adjust based on needs and schedule.
This is an in-person internship in our office in midtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and working with the Director of Communications at Closed Loop Partners
- Draft media advisories and press releases; develop targeted media lists and distribution plans; distribute press materials
- Build media relationships; track media coverage and media targets
- Coordinate and execute on strategies to increase audience engagement across multiple channels
- Plan and write materials, including blogs, social media, email communications, newsletters, and messaging documents
- Post, monitor and report on digital platforms, including social media, website and e-newsletter
- Pull monthly performance metrics across channels
- Conduct research on and fact-check a wide range of print and digital content
- Collaborate and consult on all graphic design needs including website, infographics, decks, event invites and reports
- Support planning for execute stakeholder workshops, roundtables and events
- Communicate with vendors and freelancers to ensure timely and accurate issuing of contracts, invoices, and payments
- Participate in special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies , communications and other related fields; at least 1 year of experience within the relevant fields of public relations, communications, sustainability or related sectors
- Interest in sustainability, the circular economy and recycling
- Strong writing, editing and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and thoroughness
- Strong critical and analytical skills
- Strong skills in social media, digital platforms and current trends
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with email service providers (HubSpot, etc.) a plus
- Familiarity with media contact databases (Cision, etc.) a plus
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms (Google Analytics, etc.) a plus

Role
We are seeking an experienced, full-time Fund Accounting Analyst for our dynamic, fast-growing organization. The Analyst will have primary day-to-day responsibility for the efficient and accurate execution of all general accounting functions and supporting the fund finance team.
The role will report to the Director of Fund Finance, working closely with the firm’s corporate finance, investor relations, and investment teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain books and records for over 10 funds on a quarterly basis. Assist third-party administrator with management company books kept monthly
- Liaise with the firm’s third-party fund administrator, auditor, and tax advisor
- Assist with quarter-end financials process, maintaining schedules in support of quarter-end close, and reviewing financials and capital account statements
- Review weekly bank account reconciliations, set up wire payments, monitor bank accounts and treasury processes
- Aid the year-end audit process, work with third-party audit firm, edit financial statement footnotes and performance metrics
- Participate in yearly tax return process, review returns, verify accuracy of K-1 information
- Analyze intercompany transactions to confirm accuracy between funds and management company books
- Support the investor relations team to respond to investor questions and requests
- Analysis of fund performance, including financial modeling and FP&A
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of post-college experience within accounting, private equity, consulting, or related industries
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Clear understating of GAAP, bookkeeping, and the quarterly financial process for private equity funds
- Strong financial modelling, accounting, and corporate finance skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness

Role
The Director of Investor Relations will report to Closed Loop Partners’ Chief Operating Officer & Head of Capital Partnerships who is also the Managing Partner responsible for the firm’s Closed Loop Capital Management business. This role will work directly with the company’s current and prospective institutional, corporate, and family office investors (limited partners, or LPs) and will be responsible for capital formation, business development, ongoing relationship management and investor communications. This team member’s responsibilities around fundraising, investor communications, reporting and fund administration will require strong collaboration skills to work with team members and service providers across all functions of the firm including venture capital, private credit, catalytic capital, and buyout private equity investment teams, investor relations, corporate partnerships, communications, fund finance, impact measurement and management, legal and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain investor trust and satisfaction in our team’s work to deliver value, anticipating investors’ ongoing needs

Closed Loop Infrastructure Group, Private Credit & Catalytic Capital

Role
The Closed Loop Infrastructure Group is seeking a Loan Administration Associate to join the investment team to support the management and servicing of all loan portfolios across the catalytic private credit group. The role will report to the Director of Private Credit and Catalytic Capital. We are seeking a candidate that is familiar with both debt and equity structures and who is keen to contribute to a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Loan Documentation: Prepare, review and maintain loan documents to ensure compliance with transaction specifications, credit approvals and regulatory standards.
- Loan Servicing: Oversee payments and manage interest rate adjustments, amortization schedules and modifications, and administrative support across the full life-cycle activity of loans and investments
- Transaction Execution: Coordinate closing flow of funds, making sure there is available cash by fund for settlement and working with treasury to make sure all wires are executed
- Loan Process Management: Work closely with the investment team to ensure seamless deal closings by serving as the primary liaison between the investment team and fund finance team, including third-party fund administrator
- Compliance and Reporting: Review and reconcile finance records for all portfolio positions, including borrower/investee reporting, loan payment schedules, holdings reports, and fund return calculations. Assist in loan provisioning internal reviews and discussions (familiarity with CECL is preferred)
- Annual Audit: Contribute to annual fund audit activities working closely with the investment team, fund finance team, third-party administrator, and third-party auditors
- Borrower & Stakeholder Communications: Support and build relationships with internal and external parties and stakeholders including but not limited to borrowers, investees, participating lenders/investors, and deal professionals
- Investor Relations: Work closely with the investor relations team to ensure timely and accurate financial data, impact outputs, and fund returns information related to capital activity events (e.g. investor distributions or capital calls), quarterly investor reporting, and ongoing investor communications.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ experience in Loan Operations, Accounting, and/or Fund Administration (Private Credit specific)
- Strong background and work experience in one or more of the following areas: private credit, leveraged loans, lower middle market lending, corporate debt, private fund operations
- Understanding of loan accounting in accordance with GAAP
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using a loan administration software
