What are the latest developments in the ESG space?
Show moreToday marks two years since the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) came into force on March 2021. In 2023, financial market participants prepared financial product disclosures under the SFDR for the first time.
What is SFDR?
Show moreThe EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) aims to help investors by providing more transparency on the degree to which financial products consider environmental and/or social characteristics, invest in sustainable investments or have sustainable objectives.
SFDR is part of a broader package of legislative tools designed to improve transparency, reduce greenwashing and direct capital towards more sustainable investments/products and businesses.
What does SFDR in the EU have to do with my company?
Show moreClosed Loop Partner’s investors include participants in the EU market, which means that companies who received investments from Closed Loop Partners are required to report SFDR Mandatory Principle Adverse Impacts (PAI) and other relevant ESG data.
