Georgia drives strategic initiatives, fosters cross-sector connections and is an expert storyteller.  Her multifaceted role involves connecting stakeholders across industries to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. 

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Georgia honed her skills in in business development and marketing at Inspiring Capital. Her diverse background encompasses experience in startups, nonprofits and social enterprises, providing her with a unique perspective on driving change across various organizational structures.   

In 2022, Georgia was recognized by Waste 360’s annual 40 Under 40 awards program, which honors the next generation of leaders who are shaping the future of the waste and recycling industry. She has also contributed her thought leadership to various outlets including GreenBiz, Recycling Today and Waste360.

Georgia holds a BASc from University College London.

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Mike was the controller at ICV Partners, where he worked on both fund accounting and management company accounting for the firm. Prior to that, Mike worked in the tax departments at KPMG and Ernst & Young, focused on private equity and alternative investment clients.  

Mike holds an MS in Accountancy and a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is also a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant).

Drawing on nearly 20 years of retail and supply chain experience, Anh oversees in-field operations to test and iterate innovative solutions and collaborates closely with leading brands to ensure operational viability. 

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Anh played a pivotal role in Walmart eCommerce’s launch of the company’s omnichannel direct-to-consumer brand, Allswell Home. With a retailer-focused mindset and a background in retail supply chain management, Anh has spanned roles from sourcing and product development, production and compliance, to operations and customer care, working with both early-stage startups and Fortune 500 companies. 

Anh holds a BA in Integrative Studies from George Mason University.

Since joining Closed Loop Partners, Ray has supported the growth and management of the firm’s private credit and catalytic capital investment strategy. He has worked with private companies, nonprofits and municipalities to structure financing solutions ensuring the long-term success of numerous circular economy projects across the U.S., leveraging the broader Closed Loop Partners ecosystem to build connectivity and growth across the sector. He has led investments into several large-scale projects including the financing of LRS’s state-of-the-art material recovery facility in Chicago, and the financing that allowed for the distribution of 162,000 brand new recycling carts to the residents of the City of Kansas City.  

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Ray spent nearly a decade within Macquarie Group’s Credit Markets Division in New York, where he was part of the team that launched the division’s asset-backed lending strategy and helped grow it to a multi-billion-dollar credit portfolio. His work lending to asset managers and private companies covered a wide array of sectors including property assessed clean energy, solar, fintech, real estate, small business and consumer credit. In addition to his success in supporting these emerging asset classes, Ray contributed to the long-term success of the team by being one of the division’s leads for the firm’s internship program. 

Recognized for his impact investing and credit expertise, Ray  sits on the Technical Advisory Committee of NEXTCYCLE Michigan, a circular economy accelerator program. 

Ray holds a BBA in Finance and International Business from Villanova University. He is a CFA® Charterholder and he also holds a Sustainability Excellence credential issued by the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Kate worked on environmental policy with the American Beverage Association, whose members include The Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo, Keurig Dr Pepper and Red Bull. She served as Director of Sustainable Resources with The Climate Group, and as Executive Director of The National Recycling Coalition. She began her environmental work in Northern California, leading recycling and environmental advocacy efforts with local community-based organizations, and served for several years as Chair of the Board of Californians Against Waste.  

Kate holds a degree from Cal Poly Humboldt with a major in Psychology and a minor in Natural Resources.

Bea has experience working with a range of early-stage startups, leading institutions and nonprofits operating in sectors including renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, land conservation and social impact. Her work focuses on advancing business solutions that decouple growth from extraction, waste and inequity––and telling holistic, data-driven stories that amplify their impact.   

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Bea was at Agritecture, an urban agriculture consulting firm, where she advised entrepreneurs and investors on the impact and market feasibility of agtech development opportunities, specifically urban and indoor farms in emerging markets across North America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. She started her career in brand strategy at Additive Impact, where she worked with impact-focused organizations, including leading universities, hospitals and nonprofits in the U.S., to develop and implement organization-wide brand and communication strategies. 

Bea holds an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a BS in Business Administration from Babson College, with a double concentration in Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Management.

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Kristin was Founder & CEO of Radical Plastics, a startup focused on commercializing a patented, natural catalyst which renders conventional plastics biodegradable. In this role, she was responsible for all aspects of the business, including fundraising, investor relations, strategic relationship management, corporate governance, partnership development, finance, supply chain and team management.   

Before starting Radical Plastics, Kristin spent 20 years in market development for major multinational plastics and chemical companies including ExxonMobil, SABIC and Huntsman Corporation. She also spent several years at bioplastics company Metabolix, where she was responsible for global business development for Mirel™, a family of patented biobased/biodegradable PHA polymers.  

Kristin is a former Activate Fellow (2020-2022) and was named to the Forbes Next 1000 List of entrepreneurs working to redefine the American Dream (2021). 

Kristin holds an MS and a BS in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Aly has led a diverse array of initial and follow-on ventures investments around the world––including investments in Molg, Mycocycle, VALIS, Hyran, Frate, Earthodic and LAIIER––and she represents the Ventures Group on multiple Boards. She supports the Ventures Group’s portfolio companies, bringing corporate partnerships over the line, refining pitch materials, developing impact models and enhancing go-to-market strategy discussions. 

Aly is a frequent author and speaker on topics related to early-stage investment in green technologies, circular economy and supply chain resilience, including the e-waste value chain, reverse logistics in retail and circularity in the built world. 

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Aly worked in McKinsey & Company’s Sustainability and Energy Practices, where she led teams focused on sustainability, circularity and decarbonization for clients ranging from early-stage startups to $100B+ market cap companies. 

Aly holds an MS from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA from Davidson College.
